(Lockport, July 4, 2013) Since it first opened in 1938, the Half Moon Drive In has become a famous Manitoba destination. A family drive along the Red River for a deluxe dog has become a tradition.

The spring of 1983 saw the old Half Moon close it's doors and a larger, more modern restaurant opened it's doors closer to the historic St. Andrews Lock and Dam. Since that time, the Half Moon has taken great care in maintaining the high standards that were developed from the original owners.
